Because of the now-familiar drive to the BART stop there, I’ve developed a pretty strong draw to the character of the industrial-centered West Oakland. I want to shoot a lifestyle session there, but, hearing one or two things about certain neighborhoods (Lower Bottoms, mostly), I thought I’d first explore a bit without a subject (slash, liability). Brief drive-around today—there’s still a whole lot of exploring to be done.
