Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
I’m not vegan, but, hopefully on Saturday, I’ll finally fulfill my desire to eat at Souley Vegan.
Pesto spread over halved croissant, with fresh tomato, scrambled egg, and provolone. Then hot-pressed. Less than $6. Even just for the calories that’s sweet. It’s also real tasty, and essentially vegetarian.
From another angle, because she’s worth it.
And another. Oh yeah.
Oh my god! I want this NOW!
Second visit to Souley Vegan in Oakland with the lovely Claire my last night in America.
First time we shared an everything plate with fried Okra and Red Beans. But this night we had separate plates and I chose to have Southern Fried Tofu, Black Eyed Peas (for luck in the New Year, BBQ Tofu, and Collard Greens.
Claire chose Black Eyes Peas, Collard Greens, Potato Salad, and Yams. Then got more Potato Salad to go.
I cannot recommend this delicious place more. Yum town!
